Scout Mag is Inquirer's digital magazine. They also have free physical copies distributed at various bookstores and universities in the Metro and nearby provinces. Scout has been around since 2014 and has gained notoriety for throwing some of the best parties and events in town, such as Scout Valley High, The Scout House Party and Scout Summer Camp. And this year was no different as they held Scout Music Fest at SM Aura's Samsung Hall last August 5, 2017. The event threw in some of the best bands and musicians in the local music scene such as BP Valenzuela, Autotelic, Jensen & the Flips, IV of Spades, Tandems ’91, Tom’s Story, She’s Only Sixteen, Rjay Ty, Oh, Flamingo!, Jess Connelly x Lustbass, and Farewell Fair Weather.
The event was an '80s themed party though it would be quite funny to note that majority of the attendees as well as some of the artists may not have been around yet during that time. But that didn't stop these millennial from enjoying the event as music played nonstop and everyone was in their most fashionable. There were even some celebrities spotted such as Khalil Ramos, Kaila Estrada and LA Aguinaldo who seemed to have enjoyed along with everyone else. Now what can we expect on the next events that Scout will throw? Oh we could only clasp our hands in sheer expectations. Happy 3rd birthday Scout Mag!
